Communications and Public Speaking: Fearless Living: Ditch the Excuses, Drop the Masks, and Finally Live Free

05-13-2025 5:45 pm -8:00 pm
Free

Title of Speech:

Fearless Living: Ditch the Excuses, Drop the Masks, and Finally Live Free

Speech Abstract:

Let’s get one thing straight—fear isn’t just holding you back, it’s running the whole damn show. In this raw and real talk, Rhonda Britten dives deep into the ways fear quietly (and not so quietly) hijacks our choices, sabotages our dreams, and keeps us stuck in lives that feel “fine” but never free.

You’ll learn how to spot fear’s greatest hits—excuses, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and playing small—and swap them for the courage to be unapologetically yourself. No masks. No pretending. Just the tools, truths, and tough love you need to reclaim your life, on your terms.

If you’re done waiting for permission to be the real you, this is your wake-up call. Let’s get free.

Learning Objectives:

  • Spot the fear behind your excuses and self-sabotage.
  • Identify your personal fear pattern (a.k.a. your Wheel of Fear).
  • Use practical tools to break free and take action.
  • Build self-trust to make bold, clear choices.
  • Show up as your true self—no masks, no apologies.

Virtual Meeting

Title of Speech:

"How Purpose helps you make better Decisions"

Speech Abstract:

Picasso said: Your purpose in life is to find your gift and share it with the world.  I say: Your purpose in life is to find the one thing that makes you uniquely remarkable (your gift) and share it with the world.

  • Your purpose is the ONE thing that makes you uniquely remarkable.
  • Its components are your beliefs, wants and talents – YOU!
  • When you make decisions that are aligned with your purpose, your choices are aligned with your beliefs, wants and talents.
  • When you make decisions that are aligned with your beliefs, wants and talents, you are more confident that those choices are aligned with YOU!

Learning Objectives:

  • A definition of purpose that is both simple and logical.
  • Criteria for a good Purpose Statement.
  • Why/how your purpose articulated in 7 words or less makes you more powerful.
  • How to use your purpose to make better decisions about your life, decisions that are more aligned with your beliefs, wants and talents.

Speaker Bio:  Ian Chamandy

Bio Pic

Over the last 20 years, I have helped more than 400 organizations define their purpose and become consistently uniquely remarkable through my proprietary Blueprint process. "Blueprinting" defines an organization's purpose – in 7 words or less – and uses it to design how it will operate and communicate. I adapted this process for individuals so they can create a personal Blueprint for a happy, productive, self-directed and purpose-driven life.

I am also an author, speaker and coach, as well as a contributor to a nationally broadcast TV station. I co-wrote the book "Why should I choose you?: Answering the most important question in business in 7 words or less", published by HarperCollins.
