Lalethia Bethea, PMP – Candidate for Vice President of Professional Development

LaLethia Bethea is an accomplished nonprofit leader and dedicated public servant. Currently serving as Vice President of Professional Development, she was responsible for the successful 2024 NCPMI Annual Conference. LaLethia brings deep expertise in chapter governance, budget stewardship, stakeholder collaboration, and event execution. Enhancements for her second term include developing a solid succession plan. 

LaLethia served as President of the Durham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, where she directed numerous community initiatives- from health awareness campaigns and scholarship galas to service trips to Ethiopia and Haiti. She is widely respected for her strategic vision, compassionate leadership, and commitment to community empowerment. 

LaLethia works as a Project Manager at ElectriCities where she is responsible for tracking IT projects, supporting the rollout of company policies, and working with Facilities and IT management to determine an action plan for recommendations. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels by John Grisham and James Patterson, visiting family in Florida, and embracing quiet moments that allow her to pause, reflect, and recharge.
