
Damien Perez, PMP – Candidate for President Elect
Damien Perez, a U.S. Air Force veteran and seasoned community leader, brings over 30 years of experience managing volunteers across nonprofit, educational, and professional sectors. He is currently serving as NCPMI Past President. As NCPMI President and VP of Certifications, he led volunteer teams with a focus on trust, clear communication, and mentorship—driving strategic initiatives around member engagement, leadership development, and operational excellence.
Outside NCPMI, Damien has founded and supported charter schools through roles such as Director of School Culture and founder of Total School Operations. His work includes launching Riverside Leadership Academy and guiding strategic planning efforts for educational institutions.
A passionate mentor, Damien is deeply committed to service, equity, and developing future leaders. With a practical, people-first approach, he aims to help NCPMI refocus on volunteer support, inclusive programming, and strong chapter culture—ensuring long-term impact and community connection.
Damien enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, taking scenic road trips, and reading leadership books—especially those by Colin Powell, Admiral McRaven, and Tom Clancy novels for fun.
