 Abstract:Organizations depend on projects and programs to enable 
 business and operational capabilities. Rapid changes in technology\, dynam
 ic marketplace\, and customer awareness have forced organizations to becom
 e agile and deliver capabilities faster\, better\, and cheaper. Project Ma
 nagement professionals need to shift from traditional project management t
 o agile project management practices. This needs shift from command and co
 ntrol leadership to servant leadership. Multiple agile practices are evolv
 ing to meet the needs of the industry.
 This presentation focuses on how 
 organization’s strategy is transformed into projects and programs\, how 
 traditional project management foundations are helping to improve agile pr
 oject success.
 The speaker will also highlight the importance of underst
 anding and collecting implicit needs of the customers to improve project a
 nd product success. This includes delivering compliance\, security\, and o
 ther non-functional needs of business and industry.
