Communications and Public Speaking: I Got Me

Virtual Meeting

I Got Me™ is a self-leadership talk about learning how to steady yourself first so you can show up well for others. Through practical reflection and relatable examples, this session invites participants to notice how internal stability, emotional regulation, and values alignment shape confidence, communication, and presence. The focus is not self-improvement for perfection, but self-leadership as a foundation for trust, resilience, and meaningful connection.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize how self-leadership directly impacts confidence, clarity, and presence when speaking and leading
  • Identify internal signals that indicate stress, misalignment, or reactivity before they show up externally
  • Understand the connection between personal values and consistent decision-making
  • Apply simple grounding and reflection practices to stabilize themselves in high-pressure moments
  • Reframe leadership as the ability to say “I Got Me” before attempting to support or influence others

Speaker: Jernnifer Meyer

Jennifer Meyer is a Speaker + Leadership Strategist who helps leaders reconnect with themselves so they can show up well for others. Her work is rooted in one simple belief: when you’re steady on the inside, everything else works better.

With a background in learning and development, project work, and coaching—and lived experience parenting a neurodivergent son—Jennifer brings empathy without rescuing, clarity without jargon, and challenge without shame. She invites people to consider how they lead, how they respond under pressure, and what kind of environment they’re actually creating.

Her presence is calm, real, and unmistakably human. No hype. No performance. Just leadership that’s practiced on purpose.
