Job Fair - June 25, 2025

Virtual Meeting

The remote job fair will pair one of three recruiters with a job seeker for 5 - 10 minutes.  The time will be carefully monitored so job seekers will need to present their case within that time frame and then the recruiter and the job seeker will determine if a follow up meeting with the recruiter is necessary.  We have done this for the past six years and results have been favorable.

Agile CoP: Learning Kanban

Virtual Meeting – Conferencing details will be distributed prior to the meeting

Kanban, or “visual card,” is a system to help visualize work and make it explicit. It is useful for service and support teams who cannot control the predictability of work coming in. In addition, it can help expose process bottlenecks so they can be fixed.

Although Kanban is most closely associated with Agile, any service or support team can utilize the system. In this session attendees will be introduced to Kanban, its principles, how it works, and how it differs from Scrum. They will learn how to get started using Kanban and how to overcome common challenges. Attendees will leave the course prepared to implement Kanban in their organizations.
