 About the Speaker
 
 Darlena Swann\,&nbsp\;MBA\, DTM\, joine
 d Toastmasters International to overcome her fear of public speaking. In J
 une year she achieved her Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM)--the organizatio
 n's highest educational award.&nbsp\;She is a member of two clubs: Blue De
 vil and Bull City Toastmasters. In 2018-19 she served as Area Director and
  earned the Select Distinguished&nbsp\;status.
 Darlena is an educator in
  the Durham Public School System\, CEO and Founder of her own nonprofit\, 
 Boss Lady Enterprise\, and author of the motivational book titled\, \"The 
 Ladybug - Words from the Heart.\" Her&nbsp\;passions are&nbsp\;community o
 utreach service\, youth mentoring\, professional development and yoga.
