 Abstract:
 
 Join 
 Ruth as she explores what mindfulness is - and isn't\; why mindfulness mat
 ters\; the simplicity of engaging our mindfulness\; and taking steps to ma
 ke stress our friend.
 Ruth will also integrate her core topics of Social
  Intelligence and Character Strengths into the discussion - so if you have
  taken your VIA survey bring your strengths ranking along! If you have not

 About the Speaker:
 Ruth brings ove
 r 25 years of experience in the field of project management in the domains
  of financial services\, state government\, education\, and non-profits. S
 he is also an experienced group coach\, author\, speaker\, and trainer.
 
 She holds the position of Product &amp\; Practice Development Consultant a
 t the VIA Institute Character
 Her core competencies are in bringing the 
 research and practices of positive psychology - in particular\, character 
 strengths - to the workplace through training and coaching. She loves to s
 hare the best evidence-based tools and methods with her followers. Ruth ha
 s spoken to more than 20\,000 people in more than 45 countries about the t
 opic of Social Intelligence for Project Leaders and loves to study charact
 er strengths use among project managers to better understand how they can 
 grow in influence and success. Over the last few years\, mindfulness has b
 ecome an integral part of her speaking and writing as she advocates increa
 singly for mental health. She has attended the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Str
 ess Relief) program at Duke Integrative Medicine and the (MBSP) Mindfulnes
 s-Based Strengths Practice program at VIA\, which she will start teaching 
 later this year.

 ts of Strengths-Based Project Management&nbsp\;was published in 2018.&nbsp
