Change events are imp acting our professional lives at an ever-increasing pace\, and yet we are still surprised when they happen. While change is inevitable\, and may dif fer from one organization to another\, it is imperative that organizations manage change and motivate their workforce accordingly. To make sure chan ge doesn’t derail the project\, the organization must prepare for change in every project initiative. The overall success of the project depends u pon the team’s commitment\, which is impacted by their level of motivati on. The key to managing the change is by motivating employees and the team s they work in. Failure to motivate can lead to reduced productivity\, inc reased attrition and declining levels of trust.  \; The presentati on begins by explaining the meaning of change and its impact to an organiz ation. It then indicates how the organization needs to understand the fact ors behind motivation and how those factors can be utilized to motivate th e organizations’ project teams.
